WrestleMania 35: Kurt Angle loses in his last WWE match at WrestleMania 35; bids emotional goodbye

On April 7, 2019, WWE Legend Kurt Angle announced his retirement from pro-wrestling after squaring off against Baron Corbin. The former General Manager of RAW had selected to go up against Baron Corbin who made it extremely difficult for the Olympic Gold Medalist in his last days with the promotion.

Kurt Angle believed this match would bring a just end to every insult and condescending remarks he was subjected to when Corbin was made the authority of the Red Brand. In fact, Corbin also credited himself for ending Kurt Angle’s career.

Thereby, Kurt Angle saved the best for the last when he went up against Corbin at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’.

He tried fighting against Corbin and even delivered German Suplex to Corbin but could not end up walking out as a winner from today’s bout.

NBefore he left the arena, Kurt Angle expressed is gratitude towards the WWE Universe and thanked them for being by his side throughout his career. He then demanded his music be played so that the crowd can chant the adorable ‘You Suck! You Suck!’ verse as the WWE veteran disappeared behind the screen.

With this, his farewell tour came to an end. We wish all the best to the Living Legend in all his future endeavours.
