Thai setter vows to play better for Customs against UST

Thai import Natthanicha Jaisaen finally made her debut in the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference albeit it came in a stunning loss to Bali Pure Wednesday night at the Philsports Arena.

After missing their first 2 outings due to transfer certificate issues, Customs’ setter reinforcement admitted she wasn’t happy with how she played against the Purest Water Defenders.

“Very happy that I can play,” she told FOX Sports. “It’s okay, but today, I’m no good. I’m training better than (this). Today is not my best game.”

Alyssa Valdez was limited to 16 points after scoring 39 the game before while Jaisaen’s fellow import, Kanjana Kutthaisong, also had a subpar debut with 16 markers.

Jaisaen paid tribute to star-studded Bali Pure for stepping up to the plate, but noted that she will come back stronger in their next match.

“The other team is good, too,” she shared. “Coach (told me) today is okay, don’t be sad. I will do better and play happy. Always smile.” — By Joyce Palad
