Over one month after giving birth, former National University and Petron star Dindin Santiago-Manabat is set stage a comeback on the volleyball court.
Dindin’s comeback will also mark the reunion of the Santiago sisters as she will join her younger sister, Jaja, at Foton Tornadoes. Dindin went against them in her last game when Petron lost in the 2015 Grand Prix finals.
Her career has since been put on hold due to her pregnancy.
“Since the Foton Tornadoes joined PSL, their line-up has been gaining notice for its Cinderella-story-like rise on the court. The group started the season placing on the lower half yet ended it up wearing the crown. That’s what I admire the most and I’m very grateful to Foton because they chose me to become part of the story,” Santiago-Manabat said in a press release.
The older Santiago is ecstatic to play again alongside her younger sister having won a title in the V-League in their last stint together. – By Chester Fajardo
