After ruling the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball tournament, the core of La Salle will strut their wares for F2 Logistics in the upcoming Philippine SuperLiga All-Filipino Conference in June.
Joining them at the Cargo Movers is ex-Lady Spiker superstar Cha Cruz, who cannot hide her giddiness at the prospect of teaming up with the Taft belles anew.
“Syempre excited!” she exclaimed. “I am more than thrilled to play alongside them again. I know their standards and level of play are at the pinnacle right now, which is why I’m taking it upon myself to perform and to contribute everything I can to help the team.”
Finals MVP Kim Dy, Best Setter Kim Fajardo and Best Receiver and Best Digger Dawn Macandili are just among the La Salle players who will reinforce F2 Logistics in its bid to win its first-ever PSL crown.
And for Cruz, the Lady Spikers’ recent UAAP championship will only push them to help the Cargo Movers gun for the All-Filipino Conference title.
“Knowing these ladies and the La Salle culture, one championship should lead them to aspire for more,” she said while adding she’s raring to play for her college coach, Ramil de Jesus, anew.
“He literally taught me everything I know today,” she shared. “With that, I trust he knows how fully utilize my style of play to integrate it with the team in the best way possible.” — By Joyce Palad
