Promoter and Top Rank CEO Bob Arum says Manny Pacquiao has agreed to all the terms for a fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Pacquiao has been keen to make the super-fight happen, and according to his promoter he has agreed to all the terms laid down by the Money team.
If the fight takes place, it will happen on 2 May 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Arum said: "I'm not trying to force anybody's hand. I'm just saying, 'Hey, we've agreed to everything, period. The people we have talked to on Mayweather's side have agreed to everything. Now, we need Mayweather to step up and say, 'Yeah, I'm on board. I agree.'
"I'm not going to put a deadline on there. I'm just going to hope that everybody does the right thing and we get this concluded. It would be really sad if we went through this stuff again like we did before."
The fight was first discussed by the two camps in 2009, and in the years that have followed rumours that the pair would meet in the ring have surfaced from time to time. However, there have always been sticking points from one of the fighters' teams that prevented the bout from taking place.
Arum concluded: "I want to get some movement here, with bringing Mayweather to the table so we can go out and get everything signed and get the networks together and get the thing finished."
