Over 250 netballers from all over the Gulf will descend on the island over the weekend for the premier international netball competition in the Middle East.
Inter-Gulf manager Helen Edwards said they were glad that Bahrain was chosen to host the event again.
"We are delighted that Bahrain has been chosen for the second year in a row to host the championships. This is testament to the achievements of the organising committee of last years' event and to the excellent facilities provided by Bahrain Rugby Club.
"We are extremely thankful to DHL, specifically for the sponsorship of this years' event and for their on-going support to Bahrain Netball over the last 20 years. We are looking forward to an exciting tournament," she said.
The championships will consist of two pools of women's teams.
Alongside the women's event, there will be men's and youth competitions.
