According to a post on Facebook by Botti: “The Immortal" went nuts after things got heated between the two and began raining down punches in bunches.
Brown was not named in the police report, according to MMA Fighting; however, a spokesperson for the Hilliard Division of Police did confirm that an active investigation is currently underway.
"There is no 'my side of the story' there is just what happened," Botti told David St. Martin.
"He will have to deal with court when the time comes. I am just worried about running my gym and keeping my students happy, they are already happier that he left and they are disgusted by his recent attitudes after he assaulted me."
Brown has refused to comment on the allegations and will be in action against former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks on March 15 in Dallas, Texas.
