Shiming is looking forward to the fight against the Thai, who is the undefeated IBF flyweight champion, at the Venetian in Macau on 7 March.
Fightnews quoted Shiming: "I am really excited for this fight I can't wait to get in the ring. I have been preparing for this fight two months. Freddie has a good game plan for me. From my first professional fight to my title shot after I win the title you will see how I have progressed."
Shiming and Ruenroeng have met three times before, when they were both amateurs. Shiming won on two of those occasions.
The Chinese boxer added: "He is really fast and has good timing. When we fought we would fight three to four rounds so we couldn't really show all our skill but this fight will be twelve rounds.
"Expect a good fight between two former successful Olympian amateurs and pros fighting for it all."
