The Olympic gold medallist pulled out of the Sky Live show earlier this month due to the ill health of his father, who had been moved to Dove House Hospice after a period of intensive care.
However, the 27-year-old has continued to train in the gym and is back on the bill as he wants to fight for his father.
???After talking with my dad and my family I’ve decided to box on March 7,??? said Campbell.
???It’s been a difficult time for me but everyone wants me to crack on and succeed and I want to keep my momentum going as I approach an important phase of my career. I’m excited to box again in Hull on March 7.???
Campbell is targeting a summer showdown with fellow Hull lightweight Tommy Coyle, who tops the March 7 bill with his fight against former British lightweight champion Martin Gethin.
The night???s action in Hull will also see rising Birmingham star Sam Eggington challenge Shayne Singleton for the WBC international silver-welterweight title, while world-rated super-middleweight Rocky Fielding returns to action following his hand injury.
Newcastle???s light-welterweight star Bradley Saunders will be warming up for his Commonwealth title challenge and Birmingham???s young featherweight ??Gamal Yafai will also be fighting alongside local quintet Tom Knight, Nathon Smith, Charlie Payton, Connor Seymour and Ryan Fuller.
