Woods drops out of top 100

In the latest golf rankings, which were released on Monday, Woods finds himself in 104th spot, the first time he has not been one of the top 100 players in the world since September 1996.

Woods' continued descent comes as no surprise considering that he has not played since the Farmers Insurance Open in early February, a tournament which he was forced to withdraw from due to a back injury.

It is believed that Woods will look to play in the Masters, which gets underway on April 9, as he qualifies by virtue of being a former winner, but he is not required to confirm his attendance until the event gets underway.
