Adams slams ‘ragged’ England

The Hampshire seamer said Peter Moores??? side looked clueless during their World Cup campaign where they were knocked out in the group stage.

Alastair Cook???s side face the Black Caps in two Tests and and five ODIs in May and June before the Ashes in July.

And Adams said he does not have high hopes for the home side this summer.

He told Sky Sports: ???I???d be very surprised if New Zealand didn???t beat England and then very surprised if England didn???t take a beating from Australia.

???That???s not being harsh but a sign of where the team is at.

???They look pretty ragged and don???t look like they???re as cohesive as they need to be.

???In New Zealand, they looked like they didn???t know how to play one-day cricket.

???That???s a pretty fair assessment, that???s not being harsh.???

The 39-year-old, who was at Nottinghamshire, has recently battled back from a knee injury.
