Pacers keep play-off hopes alive

The Pacers are looking to claim the final post-season place available in the Eastern Conference and made it six wins in a row to move into the top eight. If they beat Memphis in the final round of NBA games on Wednesday then they will seal their spot.

They were given a scare by the Wizards, but CJ Miles poured in 25 points while George Hill added 24 to eventually lift the Pacers to what could be a priceless victory.

The Boston Celtics claimed their fifth win on the spin after Jae Crowder’s basket with under a second remaining helped them squeeze past the Toronto Raptors 95-93.

Both teams have already qualified for the post-season, but the Celtics continue to build momentum at the right time, with Evan Turner and Avery Bradley each bagging 14 points in their win.

Chris Paul’s 22 points and six assists helped the Los Angeles Clippers to their seventh successive win as they claimed a 112-101 victory over the Phoenix Suns, who slumped to their fifth consecutive loss.
