That’s ahead of Mayweather’s fight with Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, on May 2.
UFC star McGregor, who will challenge for the 145-pound world title in July at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, also described the undefeated multi-weight world champion ‘as a rookie’.
“I don’t look at a man who’s expert in one area as a specialist,” he said. “I look at him as a rookie in ten other areas.
“If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs? If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather – pound-for-pound boxing’s best – if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than thirty seconds.
“It would take me less than thirty seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him,” he told Esquire.
The welterweight unification fight with Pacquiao will earn Mayweather around ??81m ($120m) while the Filipino will pocket in the region of ??54m ($80m).
The two best fighters of their generation go toe-to-toe in a mouth-watering clash at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, on May 2.
