Henderson, who hit a tournament-record 65 on Friday, did not enjoy the same amount of success during her third round as she hit three birdies and three bogeys.
Sitting one shot behind her on the leaderboard is Morgan Pressel, who carded a 67, and Min Seo Kwak, who registered a 69.
Pressel hit six birdies, including three in a row from the 13th to 15th hole, and one bogey, while Min sunk five birdies, four bogeys and an eagle on the par-five 9th.
World number one Lydia Ko remains two shots behind Pressel and Min following her 71, which included three birdies and two bogeys.
Meanwhile, world number two Inbee Park continued to falter as she recorded a third round 73, which consisted of two birdies and three bogeys.
