Mayweather was too classy for his Filipino opponent, with the scorecards of 118-110, 116-112, 116-112 showing how good the American was.
And Tyson, the former undisputed world champion, believes Mayweather is untouchable in the welterweight division.
“I think he (Mayweather) won the fight, he was pop-shoting Manny. Manny had a good beginning but he (Mayweather) controlled it,” Tyson told Sky Box Office.
“He controlled the fight, he has great endurance (and) he did a real good job.
“It’s his era, his time. He is in invincible mode now – no-one can stand with him at this particular moment.”
Four-time world champion Carl Froch waxed lyrical about Mayweather’s performance, but admitted his disappointment with Pacquiao.
“Was Pacquiao that poor or Mayweather that good?” Froch said. “Mayweather was that good, he was sharp, accurate.
“I wanted to see more from Pacquiao, I am disappointed.
“I was a bit disappointed with Pacquiao saying he thought he won.
“You can see when you are getting beat and outboxed. The best man won there tonight.”
Jonny Nelson was in no doubt about Mayweather’s dominant performance.
“He ran away with the fight and I had him four rounds up,” he said. “It was a complete masterclass. He adjusted quickly and used his boxing ability.”
