Cavs beat Bulls into final

Matthew Dellavedova scored 19 points and Tristan Thompson had 13 points and 17 rebounds as the Cavs, despite securing only 15 points from LeBron James and losing Kyrie Irving to injury, progressed to the conference finals for the first time in six years.

In the other semi-final, the Houston Rockets edged the Los Angeles Clippers 119-107 to force game seven in their Western Conference semi-final series.

James Harden poured in 23 points, Dwight Howard had 20 points and 21 rebounds, and Corey Brewer poured in 19 points – including 15 in the final quarter – to help the Rockets erase a 19-point second-half deficit.

The series decider will take place in Houston on Sunday.
