Zach Parise scored on his return from the mumps for Minnesota and Devan Dubnyk made 20 saves as the Wild beat the Sharks 3-1 on Sunday.

Eric Staal hit two goals for Minnesota as they recorded a third win in four games.

Minnesota (90 points) moved ahead of Chicago (89 points) for top spot in the Central Division and Western Conference.

Melker Karlsson scored for San Jose.

Jake Guentzel and Conor Sheary grabbed goals late in the third period as Pittsburgh rallied to beat Buffalo 4-3.

The Sabres were three up after the first period thanks to goals from Jack Eichel, Ryan O’Reilly and Brian Gionta, but the Sabres crumpled.

Evgeni Malkin had a goal and an assist for Pittsburgh while Justin Schultz also scored.

Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 28 shots after replacing Matt Murray in the second period.

Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 20 shots for his second straight shutout as Columbus beat New Jersey 3-0.

Boone Jenner, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Sam Gagner scored as the Blue Jackets won for the fourth time in six games.

It was a fifth shutout of the season for Bobrovsky, and a single-season club record.

Sean Monahan scored as Calgary beat New York 5-2 for a seventh straight win.

Brian Elliott made 33 stops for the Flames.

Michael Frolik, TJ Brodie, Micheal Ferland and Kris Versteeg grabbed the other goals for the Flames.

John Tavares and Jason Chimera replied for the Islanders.

In Anaheim, Bo Horvat and Markus Granlund scored a goal each as Vancouver beat the Ducks 2-1.

Richard Bachman made 43 saves for Vancouver.

Patrick Eaves scored for the second straight game for the Ducks.

Paul Stastny scored against his former team as St. Louis ended a five-game losing streak by defeating Colorado 3-0.

Jake Allen stopped 27 shots for St Louis in his third shutout of the season.

Stastny, who spent eight years at Colorado, opened the scoring with a power-play goal.

Kyle Brodziak and Patrik Berglund added further goals for the Blues, who are now in the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference.

The Hurricanes snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Coyotes.

Derek Ryan got the winning goal after 16.03 of the third period. Tuevo Teravainen also scored for Carolina.

Peter Holland scored for the Coyotes.
