Plunkett added to England squad

The 12 players who were on duty for the series opener at Lord???s are all retained and they will be joined by Plunkett, who may get the chance to play a Test on his home ground if the selectors decide to tinker with the pace attack.

The 30-year-old Plunkett has played 13 Tests for England, taking 41 wickets, and has also appeared in 29 one-day internationals.

His last test appearance came against India at Lord???s last summer but he represented England Lions over the winter and then toured the West Indies with the senior side.

If Plunkett is selected, Yorkshire could have four players in the team, with batsmen Adam Lyth, Gary Ballance and Joe Root all set for selection barring injury.

England lead the two-match series 1-0 after completing a thrilling 124-run win at Lord???s on Monday.
