Barcelona defender Jordi Alba insists Isco would be welcomed at the Catalans should he opt to leave arch-rivals Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Isco's contract at Los Merengues is due to expire at the end of June 2018, and he has stated that his decision to extend his stay will depend on how much game-time he is afforded until the end of the current season.
The statement has led to speculation that the 24-year-old may move on to Barcelona. Only 12 players have made the move from Real Madrid to Barca in the past, but Alba believes the midfielder would be a welcome addition.
"All good players are welcome," Alba said at the opening of a football school carrying his name in his hometown of L'Hospitalet del Llobregat.
"I have an appreciation for Isco. I know him from when we were at Valencia together and I know that he has a lot of quality. Anything else, time will tell."
