Scotland have been handed a major fitness boost with the news that six possible injury concerns should be fit to face Wales on Saturday.
Back-row trio John Barclay, John Hardie (both head knocks) and Ryan Wilson (illness) look to be progressing well ahead of the Murrayfield game.
Meanwhile hooker Fraser Brown (head knock) should be fit while wing Sean Maitland and centre Mark Bennett have recovered from their knocks.
Maitland suffered a rib injury whilst playing for Saracens against Gloucester while Bennett sustained a possible concussion on Saturday at Ulster.
"They've all come to training today (Monday) and are being looked at by the medical staff," Scotland defence coach Matt Taylor told BBC Sport.
"Neither Mark nor Sean trained today, but we hope they will be right tomorrow."
