NHL Wrap: Montreal thump Calgary

The Montreal Canadiens thumped the Calgary Flames 5-1 in NHL action on Tuesday.

Alexander Radulov scored twice for the Canadiens as the Flames lost for the fourth straight time.

After their initial 16-game unbeaten run, the Columbus Blue Jackets crashed 4-2 in yet another loss, this time to the New York Islanders with Nikolay Kulemin scoring the important goal to put them ahead in the second period. 

The Ottawa Senators beat the Washington Capitals 3-0; the San Jose Sharks got past the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 and the St Louis Blues were 3-0 winners over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Los Angeles Kings, the Boston Bruins, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Minnesota Wild also all won on the night.
