NHL Wrap: St Louis send Chicago packing

The St Louis Blues came from a goal behind to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 in NHL action on Monday with two goals from Vladimir Tarasenko in the final period.

Michal Kempny opened the scoring for the Blackhawks in the first period but from there on it was all St Louis, who were all square in the second period when Patrik Berglund scored, then the two by Tarasenko and the night was rounded off with the final goal by Alexander Steen for a comfortable win.

A powerplay goal by Sven Baertschi in the third period with three and a half minutes remaining gave the Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

The New Jersey Devils saw off the Boston Bruins 3-0 with goaltender Cory Schneider showing great form by making 22 saves. The goals came via PA Parenteau, Sergey Kalinin and Taylor Hall.
