NHL Wrap: Ducks, Flames, Oilers and Predators all victorious

The Anaheim Ducks beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in the NHL's Pacific Division on Monday night.

The Ducks came from a goal down for Cam Fowler to net the winner. Auston Matthews put Toronto ahead but Ryan Getzlaf and Nick Ritchie responded to put the Ducks 2-1 up before Nazem Kadri had things all square but Fowler ended any hope of a Toronto resurgence.

The Edmonton Oilers has a 3-2 overtime win against the St Lewis Blues to join Anaheim and divisional leaders the San Jose Sharks on 39 points.

The Oilers were behind on two occasions during the first period when Kyle Brodziak and Vladimir Tarasenko scored, but Tyler Pitlick and Patrick Maroon equalised and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins nailed the extra period winner.

The Nashville Predators got a 2-1 shootout win over the Philadelphia Flyers thanks to Ryan Ellis' strike after Filip Forsberg cancelled out the opener from Andrew MacDonald in regulation.

The Calgary Flames were 4-2 winners over the Arizona Coyotes, who at one stage led 1-0 in the first period through a Christian Dvorak strike.

For Calgary, Mikael Backlund, Troy Brouwer and Kris Versteeg scored on the power play and TJ Brodie nailed the fourth. Ryan White had briefly levelled things at 2-2 for Arizona but in the end that counted for nothing.

The game between the Carolina Hurricanes and Detroit Red Wings at PNC Arena was postponed due to a technical issue.
