Jefferson staying with Hornets

After the Hornets failed to make the playoffs this season, Jefferson revealed that he was unlikely to leave the team as he had "unfinished business".

However, should the same thing happen again next season, it is highly likely that Jefferson will look to move to another team where his chances of making the playoffs and winning an NBA title will be a lot higher.

Jefferson was limited to 65 games this season due to knee issues and he has subsequently vowed to lose 25 pounds before the Hornets' training camp begins.

The 30-year-old will make 13.5 million dollars in the 2015/16 season and will be looking to build on a fairly successful season, during which he averaged 16.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 blocks per game.
