NHL Wrap: Blues beat Dallas in overtime

The St Louis Blues defeated the Dallas Stars 4-3 in NHL action thanks to an overtime winning goal by Vladimir Tarasenko on Monday night.

Tarasenko has now scored ten goals so far this season and Dallas are now second in the Central Division standings with 29 points behind the Chicago Blackhawks on top with 31 points.

For Dallas, Jamie Oleksiak scored twice including a game-tying goal with 50 seconds left to send it to overtime.

In the other game of the night in the Metropolitan Division, the New York Islanders were 2-1 overtime winners against the Calgary Flames thanks to Thomas Hickey's winning goal.
