Impressive Canadiens make it four in a row

The Montreal Canadiens made it four NHL wins on the bounce after recording a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night.

Goals from Shea Weber, Brendan Gallagher and Alexander Radulov continued the Canadiens’ good form and they remain the only unbeaten team in regulation time this season.

Elsewhere, Kris Versteeg’s goal settled a marathon shootout as the Calgary Flames saw off the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2.

Versteeg was, astonishingly, the only player to score at the 14th attempt of the shootout after it had ended 2-2 after regulation time.
