Bayer Leverkusen have announced that 22-year-old South Korean midfielder Seung-Woo Ryu has joined Hungarian champions Ferencvaros on a season-long loan.
Ryu, who joined the Bundesliga club in 2014, has spent the past two seasons out on loan at Eintracht Braunschweig and Arminia Bielefeld.
He now joins the Hungarian champions in order to continue his development.
A statement from Leverkusen read: “Bayer 04 midfielder Seung-Woo Ryu joins Hungarian champions Ferencvaros on a season-long loan.
“The club hopes the South Korean will pick up competitive match practice in Hungary under head coach Thomas Doll.
“The lively midfielder is under contract at Leverkusen to 30 June 2018.”
