Robinson wants Jaguars to permanently stay in London

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson believes that a London-based team would have the edge over American franchises.

Jaguars owner Shahid Khan has been vocal in bringing a team to the UK since 2013, when the franchise began playing home games in London, and has committed to the International Series until at least 2020.

Being permanently stationed in London could provide the Jaguars with an advantage during home games, Robinson has now suggested.

“I think we’d have an advantage over teams, especially with the time difference,” he exclusively told Sky Sports.

“We already feel like London is our home. We treat our preparation the same way [as we would in Jacksonville], and we love the city.

“We could have a lot of fun doing that, so we’ll see what happens.”

The Jaguars play the Indianapolis Colts on October 2 at Wembley Stadium.
