Earls wary of Bok challenge

Ireland utility-back Keith Earls said Ireland are expecting a physical challenge from South Africa during their upcoming Test series.

Earls knows that playing the Springboks at home will be a monstrous task but said they are keen to prove themselves.

"It's going to be a massive challenge. It's a real hostile place, they love their rugby down there," he explained.

"It’s going to be massively physical, they're all big men and they've a lot of young players coming through. But we'll relish the challenge.

Earls is familiar with playing on South African soil as he toured the country with the 2009 British and Irish Lions when they suffered a 2-1 series defeat.

Ireland will play their three Tests against South Africa in Cape Town on June 11, Johannesburg on June 18 and Port Elizabeth on June 25.
