Penguins extend Stanley Cup lead

Conor Sheary scored in overtime as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the San Jose Sharks 2-1 in the second game of the Stanley Cup final at Consol Energy Center.

Having won the first clash in the seven-game series on Monday, the Penguins move 2-0 ahead with the next meeting scheduled for Saturday at the SAP Center.

Phil Kessel tapped in from close range in the second period after good work from Nick Bonino and Carl Hagelin to give Pittsburgh the lead.

Justin Braun, though, levelled for the Sharks with a little over four minutes remaining in the third before Sheary had the final say 2:35 into overtime.
