Nick Bonino was the hero for the Pittsburgh Penguins as his overtime winner sent them through to the Eastern Conference final after a 4-3 win in game six against the Washington Capitals.
Phil Kessel scored twice for Pittsburgh and Carl Hagelin also found the net to give the Penguins a comfortable 3-0 lead early in the second period.

But T.J. Oshie gave the Capitals hope with a goal 90 seconds from the end of the second and Justin Williams and John Carlson then scored to force overtime.
Bonino then potted the winner, tapping home a rebound 6:32 into the first overtime period to earn Pittsburgh a date with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
