Magic Marquez impresses in Texas
MotoGP rider Marc Marquez became the youngest winner of a MotoGP race in the second round of the 2013 Championship.
The Spaniard beat team-mate Jorge Lorenzo at the Circuit of the America’s in Texas at the tender age of 20 years and 65 days, beating a 30-year-old record that was held by Freddie Spencer.
The result was far from a flash in the pan for the youngsters as he went on to win five more times on his way to the World Championship title.
Brilliant Dormtund seal the deal
German football club Borussia Dortmund successfully defended their Bundesliga title to claim their eighth league title.
The club have Robert Lewandowski to thank, as the striker netted no less than 22 goals in the league that season. BVB saw off the the mighty Bayern Munchen by eight points.
Dortmund also set a record for the most league points, 81, that season and lost just three games.
