France call up uncapped Kevin Gourdon to their Six Nations squad following an injury to Antoine Burban.
Gourdon will be be joining Guy Noves' 30-man training squad as they prepare for their match against Scotland.
According to a statement released by the French Rugby Federation on Monday, Burban sustained a concussion for club side Stade Français over the weekend in their Top 14 clash with Pau.
Stade's medical experts have ruled him unfit to play and has instructed him to rest for two weeks.
Burban has signed with the Top 14 club in 2006, amassing a total of 173 caps for the 2014 champions.
The 28-year-old has made four apperances for his country since his debut in 2013, he was called up to the national side four years prior but fail to make the final squad due to injury.
His last appearance for les Bleus was in last week on 26 February against Wales in Cardiff.
The loose forward will be out for this week's Six Nations match against Scotland at Murrayfield and possibly the following week when France host England in Paris.
