Jetro Willems' nightmare season has continued after the PSV Eindhoven defender suffered another injury over the weekend.
The Netherlands international limped off with a suspected ankle injury in the 2-0 victory over ADO Den Haag on Saturday after recently making his long-awaited return from injury.
However, the defending Eredivisie champions revealed in a statement on their official website that Willems' injury isn't as bad as first feared.
"A scan has revealed no signs of long-term damage, Willems will train separately from the group but is doubtful for Saturday's clash with FC Groningen," the statement read.
Willems, who made his full international debut in 2012 at the age of 18, is considered one of the most talented full-backs the Oranje have developed in recent years.
