Canna at ten for new-look Italy

Italy have made nine changes from their last outing in the World Cup as they kick-off their Six Nations campaign against France in Paris on Saturday.

Full-back David Odiete and wing Mattia Bellini win their first international caps and join Leonardo Sarto in the back-three while the midfield sees Gonzalo Garcia and Exeter Chief Michele Campagnaro link up.

Carlo Canna has been handed the number ten jersey and will combine with Edoardo Gori in the half-backs at Stade de France.

There is an experienced look to the back-row where captain Sergio Parisse leads the team in the middle of flankers Alessandro Zanni and Francesco Minto while the locks are Marco Fuser and George Fabio Biagi.

Up front there is a start for hooker Ornel Gega and loosehead prop Andrea Lovotti who pack down with Wasps tighthead prop Lorenzo Cittadini.
