World Series Game 1 in jeopardy

Inclement weather is threatening the opening game of the World Series on Tuesday night.

The forecast says it will rain for the entire day in Kansas City, with the hour-by-hour forecast predicting a 58% chance for 8pm, when proceedings are set to get underway.

If Tuesday night’s game is rained out, they’ll play Game 1 on Wednesday night.

The series would continue as planned with Games 3 and 4 Friday and Saturday, meaning the Mets and Royals would be forced to play for four consecutive days – five if there's no sweep.
