Warriors continue winning ways; Jazz shock Heat

The Golden State Warriors beat the Sacramento Kings while Utah Jazz upset Miami Heat in Saturday's NBA action.

At Sacramento's Sleep Train Arena, Stephen Curry scored 38 points, claimed 11 assists and six rebounds as the defending NBA champions ran out 128-116 winners. 

DeMarcus Cousins impressed for the hosts in a losing cause, recording a 33-point, 10-bound double-double which also included a solitary assist.

Gordon Hayward scored 34 points as Utah claimed a 98-83 win over Miami, despite Chris Bosh's 24-point haul.

The LA Clippers own their eighth successive match when they triumphed 97-83 over the Charlotte Hornets. Point guard Chris Paul scored 25 points, dragged down seven rebounds and seven assists for the Clippers, while Jeremy Lin was the Hornets' best performer with 26 points of his own.

An Al Horford double-double was enough for the Atlanta Hawks to beat the Chicago Bulls 120-105. Horford scored 33 points, claimed 10 rebounds and added six assists to the Hawks cause. 

The Washington Wizards recorded their first win in four matches when they ran out 105-99 winners over Orlando Magic. 

John Wall helped snap the Wizards' losing streak with a 24-point, 10 assist double-double, while Orlando Centre Nikola Vucevic scored 23 points, claimed 23 rebounds and five assists.

The Detroit Pistons handed a fourth successive loss to the Brooklyn Nets thanks largely to Andre Drummont's double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds.

While the Pistons had the better of proceedings for the majority of the time in their 103-89 win, Brook Lopez did score 19 points and rebounds for the Nets.

In the night's final match, the Toronto Raptors proved far too strong for the Philadelphia 76ers, winning 108-95.
