Williams robbed of $750K in jewelry

New York Knicks forward Derrick Williams has accused two women he met and invited to his house on Saturday morning of stealing $750,000 worth of jewelry from him, according to the New York Post.

Williams met the two women while celebrating his side’s 107-97 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

According to the New York Post, Williams believes that the two women stole a plethora of expensive jewelry from a Louis Vuitton case in his closet before everyone left his house for the night.

It was upon checking his closet at 4pm on Saturday that Williams noticed numerous items were missing and he called the police immediately.

The newspaper also reported that police are investigating whether this incident is connected with a string of similar robberies committed by women, who allegedly target rich men.

When asked about the incident, Williams told the New York Post: “I don’t want to talk about it. It’s still up in the air.”
