NBA Wrap: Westbrook dominates in Thunder’s win

Russell Westbrook came agonisingly close to recording a triple-double in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 122-112 win over the Denver Nuggets. 

Westbrook scored 30 points on 11 of 18 shooting, dished out 12 assists and was just one rebound shy of completing his fourth triple-double of the season. 

Kenneth Faried was the Nuggets’ best player as he finished with 25 points and 11 rebounds. 

An all-round performance from the Memphis Grizzlies saw them rout the Los Angeles Lakers 112-96. 

Mike Conley was the Grizzlies’ top-scorer with 19 points on seven of 11 shooting. 

Lakers talisman Kobe Bryant dropped a team-high 19 points. 

Isaiah Thomas scored 21 points as the Boston Celtics downed the New York Knicks 100-91. 

Thomas, who also pulled down eight rebounds and dished out six assists, was well supported by Evan Turner, who scored 19 points. 

Carmelo Anthony had 29 points and 10 rebounds for the Knicks. 

A 35-point night from C.J. McCollum saw the Portland Trail Blazers skirt past the Sacramento Kings 98-94. 

McCollum came excruciatingly close to registering a triple-double as he also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out nine assists. 

Kings center DeMarcus Cousins enjoyed a superb night even though his side lost as he scored 36 points and pulled down six rebounds.
