NBA Wrap: Curry’s triple-double leads Warriors to victory

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry recorded a triple-double to carry his side to a comfortable 122-103 win over the Sacramento Kings. 

Curry finished with 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists while Klay Thompson and Draymond Green chipped in with 29 and 25 points respectively. 

Omri Casspi put up a valiant performance for the Kings as he dropped 36 points on 13 of 18 shooting. 

Kemba Walker scored 38 points as the Charlotte Hornets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 108-98. 

Walker was well supported by Nicolas Batum, who dropped 15 points and dished out 11 assists. 

Despite a poor shooting night, Kobe Bryant was the Lakers’ top scorer with 20 points. 

The Indiana Pacers snapped the Atlanta Hawks’ six-game winning streak with a 93-87 win at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. 

Monta Ellis had 26 points for the Pacers on 10 of 20 shooting while Paul Millsap dropped 24 points for the Hawks. 

Nikola Vucevic put up another strong performance as the Orlando Magic cruised past the New Orleans Pelicans 104-89. 

Vucevic scored 28 points on 14 of 21 shooting, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists in a superb all-round effort. 

Anthony Davis was the Pelicans’ best player as he scored 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds. 

Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford combined for 44 points as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Washington Wizards 108-91. 

Paul finished with 23 points and seven assists while Crawford had 21 points. 

Wizards point guard John Wall scored 23 points and dished out 11 assists. 

Wayne Ellington and Brook Lopez both dropped 26 points as the Brooklyn Nets triumphed over the Miami Heat 111-105. 

Ellington went seven of nine from long range while Lopez recorded yet another double-double as he also grabbed 12 rebounds. 

Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh scored 24 points apiece for the Heat. 

Pau Gasol and Tony Snell scored 22 points each as the Chicago Bulls downed the Toronto Raptors 104-97. 

Gasol and Snell received some excellent support from point guard Derrick Rose, who dropped 20 points. 

Kyle Lowry scored a team-high 28 points for the Raptors. 

A 22-point night from Wesley Matthews saw the Dallas Mavericks register a 103-93 win over the Milwaukee Bucks

Jerryd Bayliss was the Bucks’ top player as he scored 19 points. 

An all-round performance from the San Antonio Spurs saw them edge the Minnesota Timberwolves 101-96. 

Kawhi Leonard starred for the Spurs as he recorded a double-double, which consisted of 17 points and 11 rebounds. 

Andrew Wiggins had 18 points for the Timberwolves. 

Kyrie Irving was back to his best as the Cleveland Cavaliers skirted past the Phoenix Suns 101-97. 

Irving scored 22 points in just 24 minutes while JR Smith had 17. 

TJ Warren came off the bench to score 23 points for the Suns. 

Gordon Hayward dropped 24 points to lead the Utah Jazz to a 95-91 win over the Philadelphia 76ers

Ish Smith was the Sixers’ best player with 22 points and 11 assists.
