Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love all scored generously in Cleveland's 111-108 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Irving scored 28 points, James added 26 and points and 10 assists and Love added 27 to help the Cavs to a fourth straight win. It was veteran Mike Miller who took saved the day though, coming off the bench in the second half, Miller made two 3-pointers, grabbed seven rebounds and made a crucial block. After the game coach David Blatt said: "We were in trouble and we had to do something. Mike answered the call."

LaMarcus Aldridge was in fine form, scoring a season high of 39 points to help the Portland Trail Blazers to a close 105-103 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Aldridge was also behind the winning basket, with a dramatic spinning pass inside to Robin Lopez with just 1.3 seconds left on the clock. After the game Aldridge said: "Everybody in the arena thought I would shoot it if I touched it. So I tried to throw it to (Lopez)."

MVP Kevin Durant scored 27 points on his return for Oklahoma City; but it wasn't enough to avoid a 112-104 defeat by the New Orleans Pelicans. After the game Durant said: "To get back to midseason form like I want to be is going to take some time. No excuses for me. I'm out there, I got to play hard as I can no matter what and I got to go out there and be the best leader and player I can be."

The Lakers beat the Pistons 106-96 thanks to Kobe Bryant scoring 12 straight points in the third-quarter. Bryant and the rest of the Lakers were instrumental in sending the Pistons to their ninth defeat in a row. Bryant said: "I just paced it out a little bit and came out in the second half and let the game come to me. I made a couple shots and stepped on the gas."
