Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant left midway through his side’s 125-101 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday due to a left hamstring strain.
Durant sustained the injury late in the second quarter when he clutched the back of his left leg upon landing awkwardly after being fouled.
Durant proceeded to make the two free throws and played on for the final two minutes of the quarter before walking gingerly to the locker room at half-time.
The 27-year-old did not feature for the remainder of the game and subsequently finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in just under 17 minutes of action.
The Thunder will be hoping that Durant’s injury is not serious as he has been averaging 30.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 blocks per game this season.
