The England U21 striker, who is out of contract in the summer and has been??linked with a number of clubs, says he has no interest in leaving Burnley??in the middle of a relegation fight.
Aston Villa, Everton and Hull have all reportedly shown interest in the 22-year-old but he is quoted in the Sun as saying: “I’m contracted until the end of the season and that’s the way it’s going to??be.??
“I will fight for the team as much as I can and do my best for them.??If an offer comes in, I won’t be looking at it.”
Ings has scored 51 goals in 153 appearances for the Clarets since joining from??Bournemouth and his goals were pivotal in their promotion to the top flight last season.
On the reports of interest from a number of Premier League clubs during the January transfer window, he added:??”It’s flattering, especially for a young lad. It’s quite easy to lose??concentration for some people. But I’m not that sort of character.
“I’ll just see it as a sign of confidence, take it into my game and do as well??as I can for Burnley.”??
