Cilic and Lopez to square off

Marin Cilic and Feliciano Lopez will face off in the final of the Aegon Championships following their wins on Saturday.

Cilic, seeded fourth, enjoyed a strong service game in his 6-3, 5-7, 6- win over Gilles Muller on the courts of London.

The Croatian was superb on serve, winning 91 percent of his points on first serve and firing 20 aces. Muller was no mugg himself, notching up 22 aces.

Apart from losing the final service game in the second set, Cilic was in control for most of the match, breaking Muller once in the first and third sets.

"It's just amazing to get to the final," the former US Open winner told
"Also considering that today's match was an extremely high level. I was playing really, really good throughout all the match. Gilles was just pushing me to the limits.
"This week I was feeling really good on my serve and especially on the shots afterwards I was playing really well. And also against Gilles today I was mixing it up really good and just playing really well, really smart in some critical points. It's just paying off nicely."

Later in the day, veteran Lopez would produce a brilliant performance to upset sixth seed Grigor Dimitrov 7-5, 6-3, 6-2 and reach his 17th career ATP Tour final.

Cilic leads their head-to-head 5-2, with the Croatian having won the last four encounters, including a straight set win at Roland Garros last month.
