Karolina Pliskova notched up her seventh WTA title following her win at the Brisbane International on Saturday.
The Czech star eased past Alize Cornet 6-0, 6-3 in just 65 minutes on the hard courts of the Australian city.
The tall world number six fired down seven aces and won 90 percent of her first service points in a dominating victory.
Pliskova blitzed the opening set in 20 minutes with three breaks, winning three games to love in the process.
Cornet put up more of a fight in the second set but still did not manage to earn a break point, while Pliskova broke the Frenchwoman twice on her way to third title in the last seven months.
“Every day here it’s been a full stadium and I’ve loved to play in front of you and I hope I’m going to be back next year,” said Pliskova, who moves back into the top five with the win.
