Kerber brushes Radwanska aside

Defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska proved no match for World No 1 Angelique Kerber in the WTA semi-finals in Singapore on Saturday.

Top seed Kerber's stellar 2016 season continued as she demolished second seed Radwanska 6-2, 6-1 in just an hour and 17 minutes.

The German broke her opponent's serve in the very first game of the match, and though Radwanska hit straight back with a break of her own, Kerber was able to regain her advantage in the very next game.

From there, Kerber was able to consolidate and hold serve, and when another break followed at 2-4, she was able to serve out the set with ease.

The second set continued the pattern, with Kerber creating absolute havoc on Radwanska's serve, breaking four times in succession to race to a resounding win.

Kerber, who will now have the chance to add the WTA Finals crown to her Australian Open and US Open titles, will face Dominika Cibulkova in the final, after she won an epic clash against Svetlana Kuznetsova earlier in the day.
