Kirsten Flipkens was knocked out in the quarter-finals of the Tashkent Open following her loss on Thursday.
The second seed was upset in straight sets by Denisa Allertova, who needed 87 minutes to defeat her 7-5, 6-4 on the hard courts of Uzbekistan.
Allertova would break the Belgian first to take a 4-1 lead, but Flipkens showed some fight to rally back to four games all.
After Flipkens saved two set points to level matters at five games all, But Allertova would win the final game to take the set.
While Flipkens would get a break in the second set, two breaks would be enough for the Czech to book her place in the semi-finals, where she faces fourth seed Nao Hibino.
The Japanese player eased through after Lesia Tsurenko retired hurt in the second set.
The other semi-final will feature Kristyna Pliskova – who defeated Irina Khromacheva in straight sets – and Kateryna Kozlova of Ukraine.
