Rain delays day two in Paris

The rain has continued to fall at Roland Garros, delaying the start of day two at the event in Paris.

There are six matches that need to be completed after heavy rain yesterday. These clashes include Japanese superstar Kei Nishikori and 13th seed Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Day two’s action will see defending champion Stan Wawrinka take on Lukas Rosol on Court Philippe Chatrier.

The weather is expected to clear by the afternoon in Paris.
