Fourth-seeded Jelena Jankovic crushed unseeded Denisa Allertova of Czech Republic in straight sets to win Guangzhou International tennis tournament on Saturday.
The Serb, Jankovic, won 6-2, 6-0 in one hour, 11 minutes and was never tested by her Czech opponent.
Earlier in the tournament, Allertova had beaten top seed Simona Halep and third-ranked Sara Errani to reach her first WTA final.
After swapping breaks in the first two games and after Allertova took a 2-1 lead, she would not win another game as Jankovic cruised to the title.
In a chat on the court after her win, Jankovic said, "It's amazing to win a title in China for the second time this year – obviously China is very special to me.
"I really want to thank the fans, not just for today, but for supporting me for such a long time now, and coming out many, many years whenever I come to China."
