Boris Becker, the coach of world number one Novak Djokovic, feels that 18-year-old American Taylor Fritz has great potential and will be the best American player in the future.
Fritz burst on the tennis scene in a big way and has jumped up in the rankings climbing 700 places in 12 months to be currently ranked at 81st in the world.
In February 2016 in just his third career ATP tournament, Fritz reached the final of the Memphis Open after being awarded a wildcard into his first ATP 250 tournament.
The youngster ended up losing in the final to three-time defending champion and Top 10 player Kei Nishikori of Japan.
Three-time Wimbledon champion Becker was impressed with how Fritz played when losing in the second round of the Miami Masters against Spanish veteran David Ferrer recently and tweeted that Fritz will be the best player of his generation.
